"Access China" is composed of 3 sections, 30 lessons and 90 acts altogether. The whole play develops with the background that a Canadian student stays at a Chinese family, showing a panoramic view of a Chinese family’s daily life and what foreigners can see and hear when they live in China. It chooses daily life occasions as learning units; the vocabularies, expressions and topics are close to real life and involved with knowledge of Chinese culture as well; the content is extremely rich and practical.
"Access China" combines melodrama and computer multimedia technology, views learners as the main character, and offers diverse training methods such as role-substitution, language focus tips, interactive exercises, character-writing and pinyin-spelling demonstrations, etc, to obtain excellent learning effect. After about a year’s learning, learners can reach a high level of Chinese hearing, speaking, reading and writing.
